Cost of participation in the competition:
Each participant pays 3,000 hryvnias for a competitive work that has passed moderation. Payment must be made within 3 days after receiving a notice of moderation. Payment must be made through the official website of the competition using a bank card or other available online payment methods.
In case of late payment, the competitive work will be excluded from participation in the competition.
All funds received for participation are used to organize and conduct the competition, as well as to pay the prize fund to the winners.
The payment is non-refundable, except when the competitive work was excluded by the organizers due to technical errors or for other reasons beyond the participant’s control. In such cases, it is possible to refund funds or transfer them to another competition, with the consent of the participant.
Terms of participation in the contest “Awkward Laughter”
1. Participants:
– Any person over the age of 18 who is a citizen of Ukraine or has a permanent residence permit in Ukraine can participate.
2. Registration of participants:
– Participants fill in their contact details and verify their email address.
3. Prohibition of using bots:
– The use of bots and vote manipulation is prohibited.
4. Restrictions on voting:
– Voting from one IP address is limited to 1 free vote.
– Additionally, you can vote for the contest work for accrued bonuses or virtual money from the “Respondent” account in the sociometer.biz service, and you can also purchase additional votes for money. The cost of each additional vote is UAH 20.
– Voting is limited to the territory of Ukraine. The use of VPN services is prohibited and may be the reason for blocking the competitive work.
– The organizer provides an opportunity to purchase additional votes to support your favorite contestants. Purchase of additional votes is carried out through the official website of the contest using payment systems that support bank cards, electronic wallets and other popular payment methods. 5. Rules of behavior of participants:
– Organizers can block a participant at their discretion, in particular for content that contradicts moral norms and laws of Ukraine, use of manipulations during voting, use of other people’s content, lack of identification data in the video, etc.
6. Determination of winners:
– Winners are determined based on the results of open online voting based on the number of earned and purchased points.
7. Prizes for victory:
– Premiums for prizes in the competition are credited to the personal accounts of the participants in the sociometer.biz service.
8. Own content:
– Participants choose a topic proposed by the organizer and submit their own content or someone else’s content to the competition, but with the permission of the authors.
9. Using different types of videos:
– Participants can use a video from any period, as long as it corresponds to the topics and conditions of the contest.
10. Video download formats:
– The videos are uploaded to the YouTube platform, and a link to the video is uploaded to the submission feed.
11. Prohibited elements:
– It is forbidden to use elements of porn, violence, hostile propaganda, calls for a change in the state system.
12. Video duration:
– The video for the Awkward Laugh contest must be at least 3 minutes and no more than 5 minutes.
13. Minimum number of votes:
– To receive the main awards, the prize winners must collect at least 100 votes for their performance.
14. Consent to reproduction of works:
– Participants of the “Awkward Laugh” contest consent to the reproduction of the contest work on the https://sociometer.biz websites in materials used to promote the contest and/or future related promotions.
15. Application deadline:
– Participants can submit their competitive works from 15.09.24 to 25.10.24. Applications sent after this deadline will not be accepted.
16. Start and end of voting:
– Voting for competitive works begins on 28.10.24 and ends on 27.11.24.
17. Publication of results:
– Winners and contest results will be published on the official website https://sociometer.biz and other media platforms from 11/28/24.
18. Waiver of reward:
– If the winner refuses to receive the prize, the organizers can transfer it to another participant or determine another method of prize distribution.
19. Publication of works in the portfolio:
– The organizers have the right to use the contest videos of participants and winners of the “Awkward Laughter” contest in their portfolio and advertising materials.
20. Change of competition conditions:
– The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the rules of the competition and other aspects of the event if there are good reasons and to notify the participants of the competition.

24. Limitation on the number of submitted works:
– There is no limit to the number of submitted videos in this contest. Creativity is allowed to develop without restrictions. Impress your audience with content and supporter voting organization.
25. Reward:
– Winners receive a reward for the balance in the personal account of the sociometer.biz service. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION FOR SPONSOR’S MONEY?
There are several options to take part in the competition without own funds.
You can ask friends, relatives or business representatives to support your performance with money. The site allows you to upload a link, logo and image together with the competition work. These attributes may be used to advertise your sponsors as long as they do not violate the law. 2. If your entry is valuable, worthy of attention and we like it, but you could not find funds or a sponsor, then the site will try to offer other sponsors to support you. In this case, the advertising attributes of new sponsors will be loaded.
